Overview

Many people in our society are struggling with handling stress, anxiety and are overwhelmed by spiralling thoughts.
Many believe they can't even sit in silence for 2 minutes before they get restless or bored.
But what if the peace and clarity that you are looking for was already within you?

We truly believe that anyone has the ability to experience this directly.

Through the power of music and guided meditation, this session is designed to help you rediscover your innate inner stillness.

U.M. offers a unique, modern framework that anyone can use to cultivate a more insightful, balanced and fulfilling life.


The session

Every week is different and changes based on the needs of the group. Each session provides opportunities for growth and connection.

Generally, you can expect:

  • Guided meditations

  • Explanations of WHY we practice

  • Group sharing insights and discussions

  • Practical ways you can apply what you learnt in your daily life

  • Relaxing ending with Eddy playing his handpan (if time allows 😉)

Currently we're being hosted in Eddy's house, in Brislington (the exact address is provided on registration), in his spacious and cosy living room.
We have sofas, chairs and cushions to sit on.
Our experienced host, Eddy, is a certified Unified Mindfulness coach.
He will ensure a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where everyone - from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, from any background - can connect and learn from each other.
Sessions are completely free. We ask for a donation at the end (suggested £5).
We believe that Mindfulness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income. Your contribution directly supports the continuation and accessibility of these practices.

This session is designed to be the antidote to that feeling of overwhelm that starts to creep in on Monday mornings.
We start slow.

Close your eyes and let us guide you through gentle meditation practices, with no pressure to “do it right".

Enjoy your favourite morning drink on us and connect with others in a supportive community environment.

The cafe opens at 8 o'clock, so no entry before then. I will be at the entrance to welcome you.

We will usually be sitting at the very back of the cafe. Come join us there.
We recommend keeping your phone off, or offline, in the morning time before the session. This will help your mind start the day in a more natural and gradual way.

About Us

Hey! This is Eddy.
I'm the founder of Prima Mentis and a certified Unified Mindfulness Coach.
I'm also just a fellow traveller on the path to self-discovery.
Always beginning again, always learning!

My purpose is to use my coaching skills and years of meditation experience to share my insights, making Mindfulness practice empowering, deep and accessible.

I've been practising meditation in various forms for about 7 years. In 2024, I left my comfy job in game development to go travelling. It was an intense journey! 10 months of self discovery, exploring my boundaries, fears, ambitions, and dreams.
The result of that was the decision to start the serious training as a Unified Mindfulness coach, then move back to the UK and start the Prima Mentis project.
Prima Mentis means "Mind First". It embodies our core belief that positive change begins within.
This project emerged from a deeply personal mission: to empower individuals by helping them understand and cultivate the most powerful tool they possess - their mind.

We teach Mindfulness meditation, based on the Unified Mindfulness meditation system.
U.M. offers a unique, modern framework that anyone can use to cultivate a more insightful, balanced and fulfilling life.
